artist statement
My work is rooted in process, memory, and transformation. I create ceramic pieces drawing inspiration from travel, shared meals, and the small, meaningful details of place. These pieces hold stories—of movement, time, and connection—embedded into everyday forms.
In my mixed media work, I deconstruct older artworks and materials and reconstruct them into something new, allowing their histories to remain present. I’m drawn to the quiet juxtapositions found in nature—strength and fragility, permanence and impermanence - and use my practice to honor what remains while making space for something new.
